Ina-Garten

Ina Garden is an American cookbook author who has received Emmy awards. She hosts the oldest Food Network show, Barefoot Contessa. The show premiered in 2002. The show will run for another 27 seasons. Ina began to write Nuclear energy and policy documents in the White House. While she found it intellectually stimulating initially eventually she dropped interest and bought a tiny speciality food shop - Barefoot Contessa. It took her nearly 18 years to make the shop extremely successful before she sold the store. She then began to write one of her cookbooks. A number of other cookbooks and magazine columns followed. Her Food Network television program also debuted and quickly became popular. Her range of items spans from kitchen equipment to ingredients and storage containers. Ina was never to any cooking academy and has never been employed in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. She is known for her straightforward approach to cooking and effortless take on entertainment. Her most well-known recipes include quick and easy recipes, such as Skillet Baked Lemon Chicken, Macaroni and Cheese using Beef Bourguignon as well as Balsamic-Roasted Brussels Sprouts.
