Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez has been a Mexican American actress, singer and songwriter for a number of years. In her early years, Sara was racially taunted by many people in America. In the ninth grade, after a school audition in which she received high praise for her voice, she started to build confidence. At the age of 23 she began her career making her debut on Broadway in Paul Simon's The Capeman and in films with You've Got Mail. The part of The Lad of The Lake is her most memorable breakthrough, bringing herself the Tony Award in addition to the acclaim of critics for her performance. The following year she was cast in the role of Dr. Callie Torres in ABC's Grey's Anatomy. This led to her gaining wider fame. She is a popular singer. she has also released both an album and a musical. She has also spoken out in support of LGBT issues.
