Annie Mist Thorisdottir works as a professional CrossFit athlete hailing from Reykjavik Iceland. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, where she is a coach for athletes. Annie became the very first female ever to win CrossFit Games on two occasions. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir was an Icelanders weightlifter CrossFit champion and media celebrity. Her fame stems from her being the first woman who won in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. The other accomplishments she has achieved include securing Dubai Fitness Championships in 2013 and 2013. Annie was born in and brought up in Reykjavik Iceland along with her parents as well as her siblings. As a child, she was always a fan of sports and exercise. She was a participant in numerous school competitions and was awarded a variety of medals. She became the first woman athlete who won the two CrossFit Games consecutively. In addition, in 2014 she was awarded a silver medal and recently in 2021 won a bronze medal in CrossFit Games. Annie is currently a trainer as well as a trainer in Crossfit Reykjavik, which she started in the year 2000. Annie is an aspiring athlete who has been the face for various brands like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs, Nuun Hydration, Renaissance Periodization and Sidekick Yerbae.
